CPT Expectations

It is my honor and privilege to work with you and that we are able to work together further on how to achieve your health, fitness, and wellness goals! To optimize our working relationship, here are some expectations from both yours truly and you, the valuable client.

Client Expectations:

  1. Communicate. Reach out to your CPT if you have questions, concerns, changes (injuries, health goals, etc.) that would be beneficial to know about your working relationship with the CPT.
  2. Commit. Be dedicated and consistent with your schedule whether with the CPT or exercises and physical activities daily.
  3. Hydrate and Eat Healthier Options. Drink before you feel "thirsty" as thirst is a sign of dehydration already. Check your urine color. Choose healthier food choices, a good way to determine what is healthier is that if you do grocery shopping, you eat most on what is in the perimeter (fruits and vegetables, seafood, chicken breast, etc.) compared to what is provided on the aisles. Unless identified by your health professional, reduce sugar and salt intake!
  4. Stretch and Improve Cardiovascular Endurance. Though we will do some of the stretches and cardiovascular exercises for a few minutes, but for the most part, this is what you should do on your own time.
  5. Reflect. Remind yourself why you are doing everything to have the discipline to do everything above.

Expectations from Manuel:

  1. Communication. Yes, you may reach me by phone and email and I will respond to you as soon as I can. Remember, the CPT training begins and ends on the scheduled date/time. Anything after that is out of service that I am willing to provide.
  2. Goal-Setting. Assist you with setting SMART health and wellness goals that are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time-Bound.
  3. Evidence-Based. The program that we will do is based on evidence provided by research and experts as much as possible.
  4. Strong Advocate and Ally. I am here to fully support you in your health, fitness, and wellness goals as much as I can! Being as inclusive as possible is what I try to promote!
